Graduating from the London College of Fashion, University of the Arts, with a Bachelor of Arts (BA Honours) in Theatre Costume and Special Effects for Film & TV, Lara embarked on a brief but intense career in the film industry, working on high-profile productions, including Harry Potter, and in the Costume Department of Tim Burton's acclaimed Corpse Bride.

She later pursued a career in set design, specializing in prop production for the Visual Merchandising sector of international fashion houses. As a professional technician, she focused on creating scenic structures and window display installations.

Thanks to a project for Veuve Clicquot, a prestigious French champagne brand, Lara and two partners founded Paperize in 2016. Their first clients included hotels and wellness centers.

After spending several years in the UK, Lara returned to Italy to relaunch her entrepreneurial idea, establishing its base in Milan, in a small Creative Lab & Showroom located in the Niguarda district.

Paperize has contributed to film productions in the UK, participated in industry events, and created interior decor for private residences.
